AI-Ready Data Management & Integration

From Disconnected Data To A Trusted AI-Ready Foundation

A value-led programme that fixes your highest-cost data issues first, connects
your systems, and makes it genuinely ready for AI, not just tidy.

Data often gets fixed by technical severity and in whatever order IT can get to it, not by priority of what’s actually costing you more and losing the most value.

Gartner reports that at least 50% of generative AI projects are abandoned after proof of concept, with poor data quality among the leading causes. But, here’s the part most organisations miss: high-quality data still isn’t AI-ready data if it’s not the single source of truth. We ensure this happens by solving three recurring root causes:

Cut Technical Backlogs: Prioritse Data Fixes by Commercial Impact

Most data remediation programmes start with a technical audit and end with a long list of changes that can’t get funding. We start the other way round. We map your value drivers and revenue streams first, then fix the data and process failures that are actually costing you money, connecting your systems so that fix stays trusted everywhere it’s used.

Where genuinely large-scale technical remediation is needed, we use specialist delivery partners. Under our governance and value framework, rather than as a standalone technical project, we work as one team so what you get is a prioritised, evidence-based plan and a connected, governed data foundation, not just a tidier version of the silos you started with.

Turning An Agreed Strategy Into 900 New Data Controls

Following its Enterprise Data Strategy approval, HMRC needed to turn an agreed strategy into working governance and risk management capability, starting from a previously fragmented and inconsistent governance landscape with no clear ownership at the operational level.

We established an Information Governance Framework Working Group, a new Executive Committee Data Committee and sub-committees, and an Enterprise Data Owners Forum. Data ownership was reinforced through Information Asset Owners, Managers, and Line Information Managers, with agreement secured that Process Owners would own the data risk connected to their own processes.

Over 300 Process Owners were identified and trained, and 6 Enterprise Data Owners were established to give clear guidance on data standards across the organisation. Around 2,000 end-to-end processes across HMRC’s major revenue streams were mapped, with over 5,000 potential control gaps identified and 900 new controls built. 600 people were trained across process and data mapping, data controls, and risk ownership.

Within a year, internal audit upgraded HMRC’s controls adequacy rating, with data protection and security risk both trending down.

Built On Real Delivery Experience

A remediation plan is only as good as the judgement behind it. Generic frameworks and junior analysts can produce a long list of technical data issues, but they can’t tell you which one is actually costing the business money. That’s why every AI-Ready Data Management engagement is led by senior operators who prioritise by commercial impact first, not consultants who lead with technical severity because it’s easier to measure.

Because our operators have personally built governance, ownership, and remediation capability inside complex, high-stakes organisations, they know the difference between data that’s merely clean and data that’s genuinely trusted and connected. That experience is built into every prioritisation decision, every governance model, and every integration we design, so what you receive is a foundation that holds up under AI, not just under audit.

This operator-led approach has delivered a verified 95% success rate, validated by a 98% client satisfaction score and a Net Promoter Score of 92.
