Gavin ran the netTV project for me in New Delhi. The Indian Government had a desire to launch television, broadband and VOD services over the nascent broadband networks provided by MTNL and BSNL, the two telcos. Back then, it was called Triple Play services. We had many infrastructure challenges, but no matter what we threw at him, Gavin always found a way to deliver, coming up with solutions that suited the unique conditions here in India. We launched a cutting-edge service and had a great time doing so.

Gavin’s extensive experience spans customer insight, partnerships, business planning and forecasting, brand communications, digital strategy, product development and launches, TV technology, GTM strategy, digital marketing and marketing optimisation.

He explores technology innovation in the complex, ever-changing digital world, bringing an energy and enthusiasm that is rarely matched. He takes decisive action when needed to make ‘good things’ happen but balances this with attention to detail, so nothing falls by the wayside.

Gavin’s work on BT Vision has been a key part of the Platform’s successful launch. He is calm and focussed under pressure and he is very outcome-orientated.
We worked together on BT Vision for more than three years in a co-operative and collaborative fashion, and it never felt like we were working for different companies: just one product.
