Case Study – Global CPG/Pharma Company

Content Supply Chain Transformation

Global CPG/Pharma Company

“This is exactly the kind of thinking I hope to find coming into an organisation. It connects the end-to-end content supply chain and reframes the challenge – not just as packaging, but as enterprise content transformation. One of the most joined-up initiatives I’ve seen.”

Global Head of Marketing Technology

Problem

The client was experiencing a rise in Globally Reportable Incidents (GRIs) during the packaging artwork production process, creating unnecessary delays, rework, and mounting risk within their Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) environment. Disconnected workflows, weak content governance, and a lack of end-to-end visibility had created a fragmented operating model, driving costs and undermining agility across markets.

Our Approach

A deep diagnostic was conducted:

– Engaged over 100 stakeholders through 10 core workshops and over 40 targeted follow-up sessions
– Mapped 250+ activities across 25 roles and 10 BPMN workflows
– Identified 60+ optimisation opportunities across 8 functional areas
– Assessed technology, metadata, workflow, and organisational gaps
– Reviewed and re-prioritised inflight technology and operations initiatives to align with a unified vision
– Created a tactical “value accelerator” team to land early wins
– Built a robust business case to reduce risk and scale automation
